Play make create

 In Term 2 Week Four we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation.  This week Mrs Craig Read the book paper, Scissors, Rock. It was about friendship and learning about your strengths and weaknesses.  I chose to make a comic strip about Cupboard vs Rock. I also created a Movie.

Project Island song

This week we had to write something about going on the Project Island Song trip or, (if we didn’t go on the trip) anything else. I chose to write about birds. Here is my work: Facts about birds.

Seeds poem

 Last week we went out the back of our school and looked for seeds. We got to write a poem about seeds. I did an acrostic poem. Here is my poem.

Seeds are growing all around the ground.

Extremely large trees are growing into the ground.

Excellent plants are growing everywhere.

Disappearing trees are going away.

Seeds, seeds can you please come back.

Friendship

In Term 2 Week two we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. We read a story called Stick and Stone which was about friendship. I chose to do the create task and make something for my friend. I worked with Kyle and we created a picture for our friend Xoriin because he loves to draw. I also wrote an acrostic poems about friends.
